Fort Myers Beach, Lovers Key, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island |

With the car you reach in about 30 minutes the well known beach of Fort Myers Beach. Direct after the bridge is the small center with shops and restaurants. There are enough parking lots. You will pay between 6 $ and 10 $ per day. Near the state park is a parking lot with central parking meter. The fee is 1 $ per hour. Additional nice beaches you will find at Lavers Key State Park, at Sanibel Island and Captiva Island.

About 10 miles from Fort Myers Beach, direction to Naples, you reach the beaches at lovers key state park. The entrance fee is 4 $ for the car with 2 peoples per day . From the parking lot to the beach is 10 minutes of walk. There is also a shuttle bus available. Food and drinks have to brought with you, because there is no restaurant in the park. |

If you turn right at the first cross section ( after you reached the Island) you drive through the long center of the community of Sanibel Island. In direction north you will find the Bowmans Beach. Also here is the parking lot with the central parking meter in the middle of the forest. |

| Captiva Island 02 | ||||

Across an additional bridge you reach the Island of Captiva. Near the bridge is a small parking lot. Then the road goes on, sometimes thru a forest and sometimes along the coast until the most northern end of the Island. You will pass a lot of small houses an some smaller hotels. Here is also a nice beach. But the parking lot is small. ( Parking fee required) |
